Row 16: 21sc, ch 1, turn
Row 17: 6sc, inc x 3, ch 1,

Row 18: 24sc, ch 2
The piece will now look like a
trapezoid. Single crochet
around the two diagonal sides
and the short top side. Evenly
space 16sc along the diagonal
sides and 2sc in the short top
side. At each corner, ch 2. Slip
stitch into the bottom side once
it has been reached. Leave
yarn attached.
Lay the top half of the snout on
top of the bottom half with the
wrong sides facing outwards.
The diagonal sides will be
stitched together using only the
outer loops from each side. Do
not work with the inner loops as
it will create a messy line.
You will insert the hook through
both the outer loops from the
top and bottom half of the
snout. Then yarn over, pull up a
loop, and ss.
Because there are 16st in the
bottom half of the snout and
12st in the top have, there will
need to be decreases in order
to stitch the two sides together.
This will also create an upward
curl on the snout.
On the bottom half, you will
perform 2ss, ss2tog x 4 along
the diagonal sides to match the
12st in the top half. On the top
half it will be 12ss. What this
means is, there will be two
stitches where you perform the
instruction above. When doing
the ss2tog, you will insert
through 2 loops on the bottom
before inserting through the
loop on the top half. Yarn over,
pull up a loop, and ss. In the ch
Crash Bandicoot Amigurumi Pattern
2 spaces, you will simple put a
ss.
So, to simply put it, perform the
following:
ss into the ch 2 space on both
pieces.
2ss, ss2tog x 4 along the
bottom half of the snout while
only doing 12ss on the top half
of the snout.
Ss into the ch 2 space on the
short side. F/O and weave in
yarn tail.
Then work down from the short
side with the same instructions
listed above.
Once the snout has been joined
together on the two sides, F/O
and leave a long tail to attach
snout to the head.
Flip the snout inside out so that
the right sides are facing
outward and the all the slip
stitches are hidden inside.
The open short side of the
shout will be used to create the
nose.
Nose:
Attach black yarn to a ch 2
space on the short side of the
snout. Ensure the next stitch
beside the ch 2 space is another ch 2 space.

Assembly:
1) Attach the snout to the front of
the head. Position the snout so
that the top have reaches Rnd 91.When attaching, ensure that
the top comes to a peak in the
middle and gently slopes down
on either side. The bottom of the

Ensure to stuff the nose and
snout firmly. The snout should
curve upwards and be able to be
lifted from the face.
2) Create a teeth pattern on the
teeth piece with black embroidery thread. Attach the teeth
piece so that the top end is in line with the bottom of the
snout.
3) Attach the lower lip so that it lines up with the teeth piece and
the ends connect with the corners of the bottom half of the
snout.
3) Using black felt, needle felt the pupils onto the iris. Attach the
iris to the eyes. Attach the eyes to the head. The bottom of

Attach the ear so that it is a concave

6) Cut 30-40 pieces of light brown yarn
approximately 10cm in length. Use these
pieces to weave into the head to create
hair. Start on the forehead with 1-2 pieces
per round. Then gradually increase to 5-6
piece per round. Only weave 1 piece of
yarn through each stitch. Ensure to centre
the hair. As you work down the back of
the head, gradually taper it back down to
1-2 pieces per round.
8) Attach the stomach/chest patch to the
front of the body. Roll the top of the
pants down so the bottom of the
stomach patch sits on Rnd 53 where
it changes from blue to brown yarn.
Ensure the top of the chest patch
lines up with the bottom lip. Ensure
the piece is centred on the body.
9) Using white yarn, weave it through
the top front of the pants to create the
drawstrings. Tight the yarn into a
bow.
