Description of the process of crocheting Ryaba chicken:

We start knitting with white yarn. We knit in a spiral, so the pattern will shift, so that the stripes are even, knit each row, ending with a connecting loop.

• 1st row: six SC in the ring, tighten.

• 2nd row: * V* [12];

• 3rd row: *V, 2 SC* [16];

• 4 – 8 row: 16 SC;

• 9th row: *V* [32];

• 10th row: 32 SC;

• 11th row: 14 SC, in each of the 4 loops 2 SC (8), 14 SC [36];

• 12th row: 36 SC;

• 13th row: 16 SC, in each of the 4 loops 2 SC (8), 16 SC [40].

We begin to change the color of the yarn each row.

• Row 14: (lilac) 40 SC;

• 15 row: (white) 40 SC;

• 16th row: (lilac) 12 SC, in each of the 16 loops we knit 2 DC (32), 12 SC [56];

• 17th row: (white) 56 SC;

• Row 18: (lilac) 56 SC;

• 19th row: (white) 12 SC, in each of the 32 loops 2 dcH (64), 12 SC [88];

• 20 row: (lilac) 88 SC;

• 21st row: (white) 12 SC, (2 loops together with a common top, 1 CH) – 32 times, 12 SC.

Cut the white thread and fasten it.

• 22nd row: (lilac) (2 loops are knitted together with a common top) – 6 times, *3 chain loops and SC is fastened under 1 CH of the previous row* – 32 times, (2 loops are knitted together with a common top) – 6 times.

We cut off the lilac thread and bring it to the wrong side and fasten it there.

Knitting a scallop

Visually divide the place where the scallop will be knitted into 3 parts.

We fasten the red thread and knit three arches, consisting of: the first – 3 CH, the second – 4 CH and the third – 3 CH.

We knit the beak from 3 CH.

We sew on the eyes (beads) and our chicken is ready.

We hope everything worked out for you.
