Peppermint candy decoration (make two).
White and red yarn. Start with white.
Make a MR and ch 2 in it. Join red yarn and make one more chain – these 3
chains will count like the first dc of the round, in total we need to make 12 dc.
Collar.
Attach white yarn to the first stitch of the first row of the coat.
(Ch 5, 1 sc) x 22, ch 5, slst into the last st.
Fasten off, hide the yarn ends.
Make the second dc with red yarn, but finish it with white.
Make the third dc with white yarn, but finish it with red.
Continue in the same way till you make all 12 dc (6 white and 6 red).
Make a slst to close the round.
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing.
Hide the yarn ends on the wrong side. Make the same steps for the other candy.
Sew the decoration elements on the coat.
Assembling.
Sew the arms to the sides of the body on round 29.
Embroider the nose between rounds 37 and 38, in the center of
the face, the length of the nose is 2 stitches.
If you use button eyes sew them between rounds 38 and 39, the
distance between points where you sew them is about 10
stitches. The distance between already sewn eyes should be
about 8 stitches. To make the process of sewing easier you may
enlarge the holes where the eyes are sewn with the help of
tapestry needle or reverse hook end.
Embroider the eyelashes and eyebrows (see photos below).
Put the hair wig on the head and sew it in place. Sew the ponytails on both sides
approximately on the level of round 38 of the head. Put some blusher on the cheeks.
